JOSH THE OTTER

Rotary Club of Newtown Square donated books, CD's, and other materials to promote water-safety and literacy during a fun visit and read-along at The Walden School. "Josh The Otter" made a special appearance to the delight of all of the students! So much dancing and fun was had during our visit. Special thanks to Newtown Square Rotarian Victoria Vannes and the other dedicated educators and staff, as well as fellow Rotarians from Media and Paoli-Malver-Berweyn. "Josh" will gladly return by popular demand!

LOAVES AND FISHES

Our club members and youth volunteers has had the honor of continuously help a local organization stock and box grocery items donated to a food pantry for families in need. We were able to pack about 100 boxes within 2hours, which equals a week's worth of groceries for 100 local families in need. During another visit we were able to pack around 200 boxes! Most recently, with the help of the students of Marple Newtown High School, we were able to collect and donate over two tons of food during our Fall 2024 Food-Drive. Join us next time so we can break our record!

From droughts to floods, and conflict zones, food is often the most immediate need.  Come Help Us Make an Impact!

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GIVING

Winter Holiday Seasons

Every year our club selects a number of local families experiencing crisis or sudden personal setbacks that would make enjoying the holidays extremely challenging if not impossible. We inquire through other local organizations to identify households in need; then deliver gifts, food, and other assistance as goodwill to our neighbors.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

It has been our club's tradition to award selected high school senior(s) scholarships for their freshman year in college based on need and/or merit. They must live or attend high school in the Marple Newtown District, Newtown Square, or Edgmont.
